Heres video footage of me at this years Fan Expo. It took place in Toronto, Canada and I was there on Saturday/Sunday. This was my second time going and overall the experience was pretty good. My only real complaint was how Hobby Star completely over sold the place on Saturday. There was barely any room to move and people were forced to wait outside. A real lack of organization on their part. The Festival of Fear was the best part for me and getting to meet David Cronenberg. Also a shout out to Feedback from Cinephobia Radio/Rue Morgue and Slipcase from Red Shirt Pictures. Pleasure meeting you guys. Enjoy the Video!

As, I sit here and type this, the phrase ” Dio is dead ” keeps spinning around in my head. Seems completely unreal, right? The old feeling of being numb takes over as your brain and heart try to understand what has happened. I first was introduced to Dio by listening to Black Sabbath’s Heaven and Hell. I remember hearing Neon Knights for the first time and thinking, my god! What a singer! My curiosity grew and I searched out all his work with Sabbath and his solo albums. This man was a true vocalist! The greatest singer in heavy metal/rock. Sure, the castles and dragons theme is a bit silly, but fuck what other people think. Dio didn’t care and always stuck to his guns. Many years later I had the opportunity to meet Ronnie in person. I recalled being so nervous at the fact that I was not only meeting my favorite guitarist of all time, Tony Iommi, but also the chance to meet one of my favorite singers. Ronnie couldn’t have been more personable and friendly. My brain couldn’t process how nice he was and genuinely interested in my life and story. I’ll never forget that day. It stays with me forever. I feel even more lucky that I had the chance to meet Ronnie in person now that hes gone. The music world has lost an amazing talent, writer, singer, and person. I’ll always remember you Ronnie and I’ll have your music with me until the day I die. Goodbye my friend. You were an inspiration to me and I’ll never forget you.
” The world is full of kings and queens, who blind your eyes and steal your dreams. Its heaven and hell “
